Privacy policy
The short version: this site collects as little as it can, does not sell anything about you, and you can have your data removed by sending one email.
What is collected
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, and the date you subscribed. That is all. No name is required.
If you simply read: anonymous, aggregated statistics such as which pages were viewed, roughly which country a visit came from, and which site referred it. These are counts, not profiles. No cookie is set for this and no individual is identified.
If you email me: whatever you choose to put in the email.
What is not collected
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies
- No fingerprinting, and no profile built across sessions
- No payment details, because nothing is sold here
- No wallet addresses, private keys or exchange credentials, ever
Why it is collected
The email address is used to send the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else. The anonymous statistics are used to see which articles are worth writing more of.
Who it is shared with
Your email address is stored with the email provider used to send the newsletter, because sending it is impossible otherwise. It is not sold, rented or shared with sponsors, advertisers or anyone else, and it never will be.
Affiliate links on this site take you to third-party companies such as exchanges. Once you leave, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not this one. They may know that the visit came from here. They do not receive your email address or anything else about you from me.
How long it is kept
Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe, after which it is removed. Anonymous statistics are aggregated and retained indefinitely, since they identify nobody.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email
- Ask what is held about you, and receive a copy
- Ask for deletion, which will be done promptly

Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and the newsletter is not knowingly sent to anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the change will be described here rather than quietly substituted.
