TxFlow points: a fixed pool, not a rate you earn

Season 1 shares a fixed 1,250,000 points a week between all traders, so your slice shrinks as volume grows. Spot trading earns nothing at all.

Most of what is written about TxFlow points describes them as a reward you earn. That framing is wrong in a way that matters, and getting it right changes whether farming makes sense for you at all.

The mechanic almost nobody states

Season 1 started on 12 October 2026. Each week, TxFlow distributes a pool of 1,250,000 points, split between all eligible traders in proportion to their activity. A separate referral pool of up to 152,000 points a week sits alongside it.

Read that again, because the word “pool” is doing all the work.

You are not earning points at a rate. You are claiming a slice of a fixed weekly number.

So your allocation does not depend on how much you trade. It depends on how much you trade relative to everyone else. If platform volume doubles next week and your volume stays the same, your points roughly halve. You did nothing differently and your reward fell by half.

This is the opposite of how people instinctively model it. The mental model is a loyalty card: trade more, earn more. The reality is an auction where the prize is fixed and every new participant bids your share down.

And it points in an uncomfortable direction. The more successfully TxFlow markets this program, the worse it pays each person in it. Every referral link, this site’s included, dilutes the people who followed the last one.

Only perps count

Spot trading earns zero points. So do prediction markets. Only perpetual trading is eligible.

That is worth knowing before you route volume anywhere. If you were planning to generate activity cheaply through spot pairs, where fees are 0.040% maker and 0.070% taker, you would pay those fees and earn nothing for it. Perps are both the cheaper venue (0.015% and 0.045%) and the only eligible one, which at least means the incentives are not in conflict.

What has actually been promised

This is the part where I want to be exact, because the gap between what TxFlow says and what its promoters imply is wide.

TxFlow’s Points Program terms say points may be one of the factors considered for any future token distribution.

That sentence contains a “may”, a “one of the factors”, and an “any”. Each one is a hedge, and they are all deliberate. There is no announced token, no TGE date, and no stated conversion rate.

Points are also non-transferable. They stay with the wallet that earned them and cannot be bought or sold. If anyone offers to buy or sell TxFlow points, that is a scam, and the gated Discord environment around this platform is exactly where that pitch will reach you.

The arithmetic you should actually run

Here is the calculation nobody puts in a farming guide, and it takes two minutes.

Decide how much volume you would trade anyway. Multiply by the taker fee of 0.045% to get your certain cost per week. Say you would push $100,000 of perp volume in a week without any incentive: that is $45 in fees. Over a season running to Q1 2027, call it twenty weeks, so roughly $900 of certain cost.

Now the uncertain side. You need an estimate of your share of 1,250,000 weekly points, an estimate of whether a token happens at all, an estimate of what that token is worth, and an estimate of how much of the supply points claim. Four unknowns multiplied together, and one of them is binary.

I cannot fill those in, and neither can anyone writing about this. What I can tell you is that the cost side is the only side with real numbers in it. Any guide presenting this as an expected-value calculation is making up three of the four inputs.

When farming this is defensible

If you already trade perps at this size, points are free upside. You were paying the fees regardless, the venue is competitive, and a possible token is a bonus you did not pay for. This is the only unambiguously sensible case.

If you are adding modest volume you would not otherwise trade, treat the fees as the price of a speculative ticket, size it like a ticket, and do not call it a strategy.

If you are planning leveraged volume specifically to farm, stop. Perpetual positions get liquidated. The fees are the smallest risk in that plan by a wide margin, and a liquidation will cost you more in an afternoon than a season of points could plausibly return.

If you are in India, add the tax layer before deciding. Gains are taxed at 30% with no offset for losses, so a farming strategy that produces many small wins and losses is treated far worse here than almost anywhere else. I worked that through in no KYC does not mean no tax.

Why I am writing it this way

I earn 10% of the net trading fees of anyone who signs up through my link. Points farming generates exactly the high-volume perpetual trading that pays me most.

So understand the incentive: the version of this article that makes me the most money is one that says points are a rate you earn, implies a token is coming, and encourages volume. That article is easy to write and several people have written it.

The pool mechanic is the single most important fact here and it is in TxFlow’s own documentation. Anyone selling you a farming strategy without mentioning that your share dilutes as the program succeeds either has not read the terms or would rather you did not.

Broader take on whether any of this becomes durable, including the four numbers that will settle it, in will TxFlow be the next hype.

Common questions

How do TxFlow points work?

Season 1 began on 12 October 2026 and distributes a fixed pool of 1,250,000 points per week, shared between all eligible traders in proportion to their activity. It is a share of a pool, not a fixed rate per trade, so your allocation falls as total platform volume rises.

Does spot trading earn TxFlow points?

No. Only perpetual trading earns points. Spot trading and prediction markets are explicitly excluded, so volume pushed through spot pairs earns nothing at all.

Is a TxFlow token confirmed?

No. The Points Program terms say points may be one of the factors considered for any future token distribution. There is no announced token, no TGE date, and no stated conversion rate. Anything implying a guaranteed airdrop is going beyond what TxFlow has said.

Can I sell or transfer TxFlow points?

No. Points stay with the wallet that earned them and cannot be transferred, bought or sold. Anyone offering to buy or sell them is running a scam.

When does Season 1 end?

TxFlow has said weekly distribution will conclude no later than Q1 2027. The exact end date has not been fixed.
