2023 is worth noting on a page where most entries are from 2024 and 2025. It was the year after the 30% tax and the 1% TDS came in, Indian trading volumes had collapsed, several domestic exchanges were laying people off, and the general view was that the country had decided this industry was not welcome. Getting a room together in India that year took more conviction than getting one together now.
