On The Lallantop: what a crypto winter actually is

Explaining crypto winter for The Lallantop's audience: what the phrase means, why it keeps happening, and what it does to people who arrived at the top.

The Lallantop reaches a Hindi audience that mostly does not read financial media, which is the same audience I spend my time on. Explaining a crypto winter to people who have only ever heard the word in a headline is a harder job than explaining it to a trading channel, and a more useful one.

The short version: a crypto winter is not a crash, it is the long flat stretch afterwards. The crash takes weeks and gets the attention. The winter takes a year or more, and it is where most people quietly give up, usually at the point when carrying on would have started to pay.

Note: the clip above is the copy on my own channel. If you have the link to the original on The Lallantop’s channel, replace youtube in this file with that video id and add url: pointing at it. An appearance evidenced on the outlet’s own channel is considerably stronger than a clip hosted on mine, and this page is one of the places a brand will check.
