TxFlow fees, every tier, worked out in dollars

Base tier is 0.015% maker and 0.045% taker on perps. Spot costs 56% more, tiers start at $5M, and the whole schedule is copied from Hyperliquid.

Deposits are free. Withdrawals cost 0.1 to 0.5 USDC by network.

You are on VIP 0. The first tier break is at $5 million of 14-day volume, which at 20x leverage still means deploying serious capital and turning it over constantly. Treat the tier table as information about TxFlow’s ambitions rather than about your costs.

What that costs in actual money

Fee percentages are hard to feel. Here is a $10,000 perpetual position, opened and closed.

Cost
Taker in, taker out$9.00
Maker in, taker out$6.00
Maker in, maker out$3.00
With TXPUSH, taker both ways$8.55

Posting limit orders instead of taking the market halves your costs. That is a bigger saving than any referral code, any tier, or any competitor’s schedule. It is available immediately, to everyone, and it is the single most valuable line on this page.

The catch is real: a limit order might not fill, and on a position you need open right now, not filling can cost far more than $6. But for a planned entry rather than a reaction, maker is nearly always the right choice and most retail traders never use it.

Spot is the expensive door

Spot taker is 0.070% against perps at 0.045%, so spot costs about 56% more per trade.

On top of that, spot trading earns no points. Season 1 counts perpetual volume only.

So on TxFlow, spot is the more expensive product that also earns nothing. The platform is built around perps (150 or more pairs against roughly 9 to 20 spot pairs) and the pricing says so. If you want spot exposure, a centralised exchange with deeper books is usually the better venue anyway. Details of the points mechanic, which is less generous than it looks, in TxFlow points.

The claim to stop repeating

TxFlow’s fees are identical to Hyperliquid’s. Not similar. The same numbers to the fourth decimal place, with the same tier structure around them.

TxFlowHyperliquid
Perp maker / taker0.0150% / 0.0450%0.0150% / 0.0450%
Spot maker / taker0.0400% / 0.0700%0.0400% / 0.0700%
Top-tier taker0.024%0.024%

TxFlow adopted that fee card wholesale. So “lower fees than Hyperliquid”, which appears on a great many TxFlow pages, is simply false, and you can check it in two minutes by opening both fee pages.

And Hyperliquid can be cheaper. Staking HYPE reduces its fees by a further 5% to 40%. TxFlow has no equivalent mechanism. For a trader of any size willing to hold the token, Hyperliquid is the cheaper venue. Full comparison in TxFlow vs Hyperliquid.

The cost that dwarfs all of this

Everything above is rounding error next to slippage.

A taker fee on a $10,000 position is $4.50. Filling half a percent worse than the price on screen costs $50, eleven times the fee. TxFlow’s books are thinner than the major venues, which is the one weakness of a young exchange you cannot argue around.

So the honest ranking of what determines your trading costs:

  1. Whether you get filled near the price you wanted. Dominates everything.
  2. Maker or taker. Halves or doubles the fee.
  3. The fee schedule itself. Where every comparison article spends its time.
  4. Your referral code. 5% of the smallest number on the list.

A fee comparison between two venues with identical schedules is a comparison of nothing. Open the order book on the pair you actually trade, at the size you actually trade, and look at how much sits within half a percent of mid. That number decides your costs.

Where the referral discount fits

TXPUSH gives 5% off your fees for the first $25 million of volume, and pays me 10% of your net fees.

Being straight about the scale: 5% off a 0.045% taker fee turns $9.00 into $8.55 on that $10,000 round trip. Forty-five cents. It is free and you should take it, from my link or anyone’s, but it is not a reason to choose a venue and I am not going to dress it up as one.

The $25 million ceiling will not constrain you. Code details and the access gate in how to get a TxFlow access code.

Before you fund anything

Fees are the wrong thing to worry about first. TxFlow’s own documentation warns that account-abstraction wallets can leave funds stuck in the contract, which costs rather more than any fee schedule. Ninety-second check in the wallet that gets your funds stuck.

Common questions

What are TxFlow's trading fees?

Perpetuals start at 0.015% maker and 0.045% taker. Spot starts at 0.040% maker and 0.070% taker. Tiers run VIP 0 to VIP 6 on 14-day volume, with maker fees reaching 0% above $500 million and top-tier taker at 0.024%.

Are TxFlow's fees lower than Hyperliquid's?

No, they are identical. Both charge 0.015% and 0.045% on perps and 0.040% and 0.070% on spot, with the same 0.024% top-tier taker. Hyperliquid can be cheaper, because staking HYPE cuts its fees a further 5% to 40% and TxFlow has no equivalent.

What does TxFlow charge for deposits and withdrawals?

Deposits are free. Withdrawals cost 0.1 to 0.5 USDC depending on the network, which is a flat charge rather than a percentage, so it matters on small withdrawals and is irrelevant on large ones.

Does the TxFlow referral discount stack with the volume tiers?

The referral discount is 5% off your fees for your first $25 million of volume. Realistically almost nobody reaches a volume tier before that allowance runs out, so for most traders the referral discount is the only one that applies.

Why are TxFlow's spot fees higher than its perp fees?

Spot taker is 0.070% against 0.045% for perps, roughly 56% more. Perpetuals are the product TxFlow is built around, with 150 or more pairs against about 9 to 20 spot pairs, and the pricing reflects that. Spot also earns no points.
