Bitunix sign-up link and VIP code

Bitunix lets you trade without verification. What that actually gets you, what it does not, and the partner sign-up link.

Not for readers in India

Bitunix is named in FIU-IND's notices of 8 September 2026, issued under Section 13 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act with a request that the apps and URLs be blocked. Checked 6 November 2026.

Use CoinDCX or Binance instead. Both are registered with FIU-IND.

What's good

  • Trading in minutes, with no documents to upload
  • Futures liquidity that holds up on the major pairs
  • Useful if verification elsewhere has stalled and you are waiting

What isn't

  • Skipping KYC does not skip your tax. The 30% and the 1% TDS still apply
  • Smaller exchange, so less recourse if something goes wrong
  • Withdrawal limits tighten without verification, which people discover at the worst moment
  • Thin books outside the majors, and thin books cost you on every fill

Bitunix comes up because of what it does not ask for. Before the link, I want to be honest about what that convenience is and is not, because most people who want it have the wrong idea.

Not being asked for your documents is a convenience at sign-up. It is not privacy, and it is certainly not a way around tax.

What people think it does

The assumption I hear most is that trading without verification means the trades are invisible. They are not. Your deposits and withdrawals move through your bank, and that trail is the part anybody would follow. The exchange not holding your passport changes nothing about it.

In India you owe 30% on gains and 1% TDS on transactions regardless of which exchange produced them. If you trade here and file nothing, you have not avoided a tax. You have created a problem that waits for you.

Where it genuinely helps

There is a real use, and it is narrower than the marketing suggests.

If verification somewhere else has stalled, and it often does for weeks, Bitunix gets you trading now rather than waiting. The futures liquidity on the majors is respectable for an exchange of its size, and the interface will feel familiar if you have used Bybit or Bitget.

That is a decent answer to a temporary problem. It is a poor answer to a permanent one.

What it costs you

Two things, and neither is obvious on day one.

Unverified accounts hit lower withdrawal limits. People find this out when they want their money out in a hurry, which is the worst possible moment to discover a limit.

And it is a smaller exchange. If something goes wrong, there is less behind it than there is behind Binance or Bybit. That is a real risk and it belongs in the decision, not in the footnotes.

Who I would actually tell to use this

Someone already trading, who understands the tax position, who wants a second venue while a verification elsewhere clears. That person will get value from it.

Someone starting out should not begin here. Start on a larger exchange, verify properly, and keep your records clean from the first trade. It is far easier than reconstructing a year of activity in July when the filing is due.

Disclosure

Affiliate link, and the VIP code is mine. I earn a share of fees if you sign up through it, at no cost to you. That is also why I would rather set out the limits plainly than sell you the idea that skipping verification solves something it does not.
